Beaches in Anguilla
Maunday's Bay photo

Maunday's Bay

What is so special about Anguilla's beaches? Well, they contain all the things that people see when they imagine the perfect beach: the sand is white and powder-soft. The sea is a beautiful neon blue. There are no crowds (apart from the occasional group of wandering seabirds). Sunbathing and beach walking conditions are ideal. Most of the beaches are ideal for bathing due to the shallow water and reassuringly soft sand underfoot. Many beaches provide the opportunity for some excellent snorkelling too. The beaches on the north east coast and the northern tip of the island are rougher and are better for wading than swimming. There is always a sense of peaceful solitude. Anguilla has over 30 of these beaches from which to choose. Few places in the Caribbean, or the world for that matter, can still truthfully claim to possess all these qualities. Below you will find a list of the better-known beaches and comments about them.
Beaches Comments
