Fuel, water, ice and other provisions

There are many outlets offering a range of services and provisions. Major items and fuel are normally available only from the larger outlets, harbours and marinas, such as: Soper's Hole, Nanny Cay, Road Town, Hodges Creek, Leverick Bay, Biras Creek and Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour. Other outlets that provide water, ice and a wide variety of provisions can be found at Cane Garden Bay, Trellis Bay, Penn's Landing and other locations throughout the islands.

Anchorage and permits
Please use current navigational charts when cruising and anchoring in The British Virgin Islands. For yachts cruising in these waters a cruising permit is required, these can be obtained from the BVI Customs Departments.

Charts
There are several agencies that produce paper and electronic navigational charts for the area. Larger chart agencies in Europe, the U.S.A. and Canada will be able to provide you with these charts.
