Wreck of El Buen Consejo...
Anguilla has seen many ships founder on its reefs over the last 500 years or so. This was largely due to the island being so flat and difficult to see at night. This article explores the story of El Buen Consejo, an ill-fated spanish warship that sunk off the coast in 1772, only to be rediscovered by Leander "Bull" Bryan, a well known Anguillian, in 1986.
