 | Morne Rouge Bay
A beautiful, peaceful beach to the west of the better known Grand Anse Beach, Morne Rouge beach is a pleasant find...if you are feeling like stretching your legs, you can wander up to Quarantine Point and enjoy a great view too... | | Grand Anse Beach
Grenada's most popular beach and plenty of it! Where the beach action is, great for sunbathing, watersports, getting a bite to eat. No visit to Grenada is complete without a stop here. | | St. George's
The Capital of Grenada and one of the region's most picturesque. A few steep walks if you're on foot, it's all worth it. There are a number of old buildings worth visiting including St. George's Church and Fort George. The Carenage, the harbour around which St. George's lies, is believed to be a submerged extinct volcano crater, and forms an ideal harbour - used ancient indian tribes in their dugout canoes long before the Europeans arrived, and still used by local ferries and small fishing boats. | | Annandale Falls
Grenada has a number of waterfalls that can be reached, Annandale being the most well-known and easy to get to. Visiting these falls exposes the traveller to the beauty of Grenada's rainforest interior and is a very interesting change of experience to Grenada's tropical beaches. You can also catch a swim in the waterfall pool, and for the more adventurous, go under the waterfall itself for the ultimate shower! | | Seven Falls
Also known as Seven Sisters Falls, can be visited of foot. The hike takes about an hour, and starts just off the Grand Etang Road. Admission is charged to the trail and along the way, seven falls and cascades are visited. Guides can show you how to leap off the falls into the pools below - not for the faint of heart, but exhilarating! | | Concord Waterfall
Infact, there are 3 waterfalls on this route, with a long, beautiful drive to get to the first one. The other two are reached by means of a considerable hike, and if you like the challenge then it's well worth it! Those who have visited say that this is arguably the best waterfall trek on the island... |
