Getting to Tobago

Several international airlines and charter companies provide scheduled services into our islands from the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, Venezuela and our Caribbean neighbours. There are also frequent ferry services from Trinidad.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: You may need a visa - most do not, but check with your local Trinidad & Tobago Tourist Office or Embassy - they will provide you with the most up-to-date information. Proof of citizenship in the form of a passport, birth certificate or voter’s card is good to have to hand when making enquiries. You will also need an onward or return ticket. Visitors to Tobago must ensure that they have the required travel documentation if their journey requires immigration clearance at other transit points on the way to Tobago. When leaving Tobago there is a departure tax of TT$ 100.00 or US$17.00. This only applies if you have stayed in Tobago more than 24 hours.
